About the Concert

A note from the composer…

We all shared a common language until sometime around the age of 2. Our environment, culture, & language began to separate us as we learned the rituals of our surroundings. We are all absolutely unique. We have different features, habits, thoughts, ideas, noses, ears, toes, freckles, dreams, fears, & ambitions. As uniquely made as we are, all of us still go through so many of the same things in life; love, fear, joy, sorrow, search for meaning, anger, bliss to name a few. This is the human condition.

Primal Symphony explores our lives and the emotions that tie us together. This concert is a celebration of what it means to be human. Through the music, voices, instinct, imagination, and story this show illustrates how our tribe comes together to express the ultimate form of compassion.

My goal is to create the most beautiful concert I’ve ever written. I plan to do this through hundreds of voices from the concert hall stage and around the world. There will be some HUGE drums, many beautiful voices, the orchestra will shine as they always do, and there may even be a few tricks up my sleeve to ;). I can’t wait to share this with you on November 5th!
